Consultancy &
Training Package
provided in your
school to meet your
needs
Day 1
Information
Gathering |
Visit to school by
consultant to complete an audit of the science department’s existing
resources, staff skills, future proposals, aspirations and perceived
barriers to achieving them.
This will include discussions with HoD, teachers and technicians.

Day 2
Report
|
Written report of
findings, including recommendations for resources and training,
produced and presented to HoD/staff by consultant in a 2 hr session by
arrangement.
|
Day 3
Training
|
Training
provided by the consultant in school for science teachers and/or
technicians as per the needs identified in the report and agreed with
HoD.
This can be 1 full day or 2 half-days or 2 twilight sessions.

Cost
– £900 (plus
travel, quoted in advance)

The consultant for this
project is Martin King. He
has a wealth of experience in science
teaching, consultancy and training and has worked extensively with the
ASE and
Science Consortium to enhance the teaching and learning of science with
appropriate use of ICT. In this capacity
he has visited many schools across the UK and has gained a good
understanding of what works in different situations. |
