Since 1997 Martin King
has become an experienced ICT
consultant and trainer specialising in the science education
sector.
He has provided services for ASE INSET
Services, several Science Learning Centres, the Science Consortium, the
Advisory
Unit for Computers in Education, BECTa, the Science Museum, the British
Council, the Institute of Physics, Findel Education (formerly Philip
Harris),
LEA’s and individual schools. Through
these agencies, Martin has helped many schools develop appropriate
policies and
practices in using ICT effectively in science teaching and
support.
Martin has experience in solving technical
problems as well as providing training and support for teachers and
technicians. As well as working
extensively within the UK, Martin has also worked on projects in the
Middle
East and Nigeria. Before leaving the classroom, Martin was a valued
physics and science teacher in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and
Hertfordshire. In this capacity he was
involved with various Internet and datalogging projects as well as
developing
an innovative approach to teaching telecommunications in association
with
Nortel Networks. Originally operating out of Hertfordshire we now
also operate in the North West and Wales and cover the whole of the UK.
